At Reservio, we're looking for an experienced backend developer who doesn't just want to tick off tasks, but wants real influence over the product, our technical decisions, and the way we build software.
Reservio is a booking and business management platform that, since 2013, has been used by more than 300,000 businesses across 130+ countries and 27 languages, from hair salons and physiotherapy practices to sports and education. We're part of the ABUGO group, so you can connect directly with developers from other SaaS teams.
Behind a simple booking form sits a genuinely complex domain: calendars, time zones, recurring bookings, capacities, locations, staff, and payments. The product has been evolving for over ten years, so alongside building new parts, we also work with existing code and gradually simplify it.
We start with the problem, not the code. We look for the smallest meaningful step we can get in front of users to validate its impact. That means the work isn't just implementation. It's thinking through the solution and what it will actually change.
We're a team of five engineers, so everyone has plenty of room to shape what we build and how. Flat structure, direct communication, and your opinion carries weight.
Backend is your home turf, but ownership doesn't stop at the API. When a feature reaches into the frontend or mobile app, you'll see it through with the help of an agent and in coordination with a frontend colleague. Being comfortable venturing into the frontend yourself is a bonus, not a requirement.
Here's what you'll typically be doing:
We use Claude Code, custom skills, and an agentic pipeline in our everyday development. We measure runs in Langfuse and continuously fine-tune them. This isn't about using an AI tool. It's about changing how we build software. And we expect you to play an active part in that.
Skills and pipelines are something we work on across all teams, too. Nobody plays in their own sandbox here; we treat it as a shared product: what you build, others use, and vice versa.
